Sandpoint Pride Festival is excited to announce a three-day series of events, workshops, gatherings and curated SAFE spaces to celebrate our 5th Annual Pride Festival. Whether 2025 is your first or 5th year joining us, we cannot wait to see you at the following events. Friday, July 11

  • Friday, 7/11 | Schedule Overview

    A day of thoughtful and SAFE community gatherings and workshops followed by heartfelt local performances to support the ongoing movement to secure the rights, freedoms, and safety of the LGBTQ+ community.

  • All Day | SAFE Community Workshop Series

    Join SAFE and a number of community partners, leaders and trainers for a day of workshops and gatherings to support the mission of Sandpoint Alliance for Equality. Dates, times and details of the workshops will be released in the coming week!

  • 4-6PM | Teen Gayme Night at Eichardt's Pub

    Calling all teens! Join SAFE for an evening of free ping-pong, shuffleboard, put-put golf, and other fun games! Meet new friends and learn more about Sandpoint Alliance for Equality! Thanks to Eichardt’s Pub, we will enjoy free snacks and pop!

  • 6-7PM | SAFE Happy Hour

    Join SAFE for a happy hour outside at the Heartwood Center before enjoynig local performances at the annual queer open mic night.

    Enjoy free snacks and a no-host bar for those who are 21+. Memebrs of the community interested in performing at the SAFE Open Mic night will need to sign-up to perform at the SAFE table!

    Join us for SAFE’s 2nd Annual Open Mic Night! Our open mics are spaces where your true, most authentic self can be seen, held, and heard with respect and gratitude. Come share your poetry, songs, stories, histories, ideas, and dreams. Your Love and/or outrage. Our love is our inspiration. Our diversity is our strength.

    A full day of outdoor activities, movement, advocacy, solidarity, and joy to affirm the dignity and celebrate the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community. Activities include shopping, biking, hiking, an advocacy fair, food, beverages, bingo, trivia, drag, art, performance, song, dance, and kindness!

  • All Day | Out & About in Downtown Sandpoint

    Support SAFE businesses in the 1st annual Out & About Downtown Sandpoint event! Spread joy and spend your queer-friendly dollars at LGBTQ+ friendly spaces. Follow along our Out & About shopping guide to visit sponsors, restaurants, and partners who are not afraid to be out & about in solidarity with the queer community!

  • 9AM-12PM | Pride Outside at Pine Street Woods!

    Join local queer outdoor enthusiasts to explore our sweet Sandpoint mountains. Hike, mountain bike, or stroll through the woods while meeting new friends, finding your joy, and building community! More details to be released soon!

  • 10AM-11:30AM | PJAMMERS Marching Band Pop-Ups

    Join Spokane’s most famous queer marching band for a series of ad hoc pop-up performances at queer-friendly businesses!

  • 3PM | 5th Annual Sandpoint Pride Celebration at the Granary!

    Gates open at 3pm PST on July 12.

    Main Entrance is located on the corner of Oak Street & the bike Path (Full event map coming soon!)

    All-Ages Welcome! ID’s required at at the gate.

    No guns or weapons allowed on-premise. Pride Festival is held on private property. Our business owners and local law enforcement will support the implementation of this rule if an individual does not comply. No outside alcohol or food on premises per Idaho State Police and Health Code.

    Food Court (located at the South end of Matchwood’s patio) will feature a specialty menu with items from Beet Basil, Mt. Food Company, Local Yokal, and Matchwood Brewing.

    Beverage Garden: A beverage garden will be available featuring Matchwood craft beer and wine, seltzers, ciders, canned cocktails and N/A beverages.

    Water Stations: Water stations will be available. Please bring a reusable water container.

    Seating & Shade: Shaded areas and seating will be provided for gathering and resting. Please dress for warm temperatures, wear/bring sunscreen. Blankets and small beach/camping chairs are welcome.

  • 3-7PM | 5th Annual LGBTQ+ Advocacy Fair

    Join 30+ advocacy vendors from across the Pacific Northwest who serve the LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, legal, and direct services. Ask questions, visit with new friends, buy merch, stickers and more!

  • 3-7PM: Family-Friendly Activities & Art

    Family-friendly activities such as tie-dye, face-painting, bounce house, hoola-hoops, friendship bracelets, and other activities will be available for all ages! 

  • 3:30pm-5PM | SASi Bingo!

    Join Sandpoint Area Seniors & SAFE for free, family-friendly bingo under the big gay tent at Sandpoint Pride Festival!

  • 4pm-5pm | Here, Queer & Beer Trivia

    Join locally-raised femininomenon, Ricci Witte for an hour of queer trivia. This will take place in the Outdoor Beer Garden at Granary Arts District!

  • 4:30PM-4:45PM: Youth Best of Sandpoint Pride

    Sign up at the SAFE/Sandpoint Pride tent to enter into the annual best (dressed) of Sandpoint Pride!

  • 5-5:15PM | SAFE Speaking Program

    Join SAFE leaders for a short speaking program to acknowledge our land, raise a glass to joy, and thank the team of volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and partners who make Sandpoint Pride possible! Oh, and kick off the drag show!

    Sign up at SAFE/Sandpoint Pride tent to enter in the 18+ Best (Dressed) of Sandpoint Pride! Competition will be held on main stage.

    On Sunday, we rest, clean up, float, give thanks, and party (AGAIN) at the volunteer appreciation and official after-party!

    Enjoyed the weekend? Come reminise about the joy, sweat and beers while we clean up the glitter and help put the Granary Arts District back to it’s regular funky self. We invite you to think of this clean-up party as an act of gratitude to the hosts, performers, and volunteers who make Pride possible!

  • Rainbow Regatta on the Lake

    Our version of a little R&R! Join us on the lake for a floatilla of LGBTQ+ folks and allies to rest, relax, and recharge! Time and meet-up spot to be announced at Sandpoint Pride!

  • 7:30pm - 11pm | Official Volunteer Appreciation & After Party at Eichardt's

    Nobody wants a good thing to end so join us to officially toast to the volunteers who put Pride together and listen to an intimate set from our performers!
